In 2015, I studied archaeology and the anthropology of Europe while based in Italy. I used to sketch the ancient architecture & statues in between classes. 

 

I lived in ‘The City of Lemons’ — Sorrento. My apartment overlooked a lemon grove. My walks to class consisted of unimaginable views and each step felt like walking into a new part of a painting. 

 

Sitting by the seaside, sipping limoncello is a favorite pastime of mine. Creating these pieces brought me back to that place.
